Low Dose Radiation Therapy (LDRT) is a non-invasive, low-risk treatment utilizing small, targeted x-ray doses, far less than cancer treatment, to reduce inflammation and pain in joints affected by osteoarthritis. The treatment modulates the immune system to decrease inflammation in joint cells, often used for knee, elbow, shoulder, hip, hands and more.

Treatments are quick, with eight scheduled treatments (two visits per week) with evaluations from the physician. Some patients may require additional treatments for better results.

LDRT offers a pain-relief option that can delay the need for joint replacement surgery.
